Hi, I’m Grant, founder of Copper Core Accounting.

Before becoming a CPA, I began working for my uncle’s plumbing company at age 13, applied myself in the field, and earned my plumbing license at age 19, a license I still hold today. I know firsthand what it’s like to work long days and still wonder whether we hit the right numbers. I also know what it’s like watching my boss add up the cost of parts in his truck to make sure the job isn’t quoted too low.

There had to be a better way.

I went to college, earned my bachelors and masters in accounting, and became a CPA and CMA. Early in my career, I enjoyed helping plumbers and other service-based businesses solve their accounting challenges. Over time, one thing became clear. Most plumbing companies work with accountants who don’t truly understand how their businesses operate. When your accountant doesn’t understand your world, the numbers don’t help you make better decisions.

Copper Core Accounting exists to change that.
